Bronze Challenge
Mark out 10 strides, can you sideways hop from the start to the end?
Silver Challenge
Can you do 15 sideways hops with control?
Gold Challenge
Add all the numbers up in your date, month and year of birth, sideways hop this many times. e.g. 15/09/2016 = 1+5+0+9+2+0+1+6 = 24 sideways hops.
Coaching Points
Stand up tall when marching keeping your chest out and your shoulders back. Ensure your knees and elbow are raised at 90 degrees, same arm to same leg. Begin by practing the movement on each side before alternating from left and right sides whilst moving forwards. Practicing infront of a mirror will help you to see if you are doing it correctly.
