Coaching Points
Hold the hoop in different positions to make it challenging for the person climbing through. Experiment climbing through in lots of different ways such as feet first, head first, forwards and backwards to see which is the easiest way.

Can you hold the hoop still for your friend to climb through without touching it?

Can you climb through the hoop without touching it, head first?
Gold Challenge
Can you climb through the hoop without touching it, feet first?
Coaching Points
Practice keeping your arms (and the rope) low, as you hop over the rope. You can also bring the rope to a complete stop behind the body, then hop over it until you improve the timing to bring it all together into one smooth movement.

Can you double your current personal best score skipping backwards with a hop on your non dominant leg?
Gold Challenge
Can you skip backwards with a hop more than 10 times on 3 different surfaces such as: gravel, sand, carpet, grass, mud, wood etc?
Coaching Points
To begin with, practice throwing and catching down only the left or only the right side. Progress this to alternating between throwing and catching left and right side consecutively. When you are ready to throw and catch both sides simultaneously, count down from 3,2,1, throw to help with the timing.
