Bronze Challenge

Can you perform two continuous jumps touching each foot out in front of the body with the opposite hand?

Silver Challenge

Can you perform six continuous jumps touching each foot out in front of the body with the opposite hand?

Gold Challenge

Can you perform four continuous jumps touching each foot out in front of the body with the opposite hand?

Coaching Points

When you jump into the hoop, enter from the side of where your friend is holding. jumping forwards towards them could be dangerous if you fall onto them. Remember to bend your knees, swing your arms forwards and land with control. Start off with the hoop low and gradually increase the height.

You will need: Flat Hoop

Bronze Challenge

Place the hoop at a comfortable height between your ankle and knee. Can you jump into the hoop without touching it?

Silver Challenge

Place the hoop at a comfortable height between your ankle and knee. Can you jump in and out of the hoop without touching it?

Gold Challenge

Place the hoop at a comfortable height between your ankle and knee. Can you jump in and out of the hoop without touching it jumping sideways?

Coaching Points

Improve your balance by spreading your fingers out wide and stepping on the large surface of the soul of your foot. Move slowly and try not to take steps that are to big. Keep your centre of gravity low to the ground.

You will need: Ropes

Bronze Challenge

Walk along the rope 3 times without stepping off!

Silver Challenge

Place a beanbag on your head. Walk along the rope 3 times without stepping off or the beanbag falling off!

Gold Challenge

Place a beanbag under your chin and one on your head. Walk along the rope 3 times without stepping off or the beanbag falling off your head, or out of your chin!
