Coaching Points
Make sure you have plenty of space for this activity. Gently swing the hoop from behind your body, passing closely by your hips as you throw. Start off by throwing the hoop from the side, just a short distance into the air in front of the receiver. The receiver should keep their eyes on the hoop and insert the hand into the centre of it when it is close enough to do so. As soon as the hoop is on the arm, begin to move the arm in small circles to get the hoop to spin around.

Can you catch the hoop on your left arm and begin to spin the hoop around the arm when you catch it?
Silver Challenge
Can you catch the hoop on your right arm and begin to spin the hoop around the arm when you catch it?
Gold Challenge
After catching and spinning one hoop on your arm, can you catch a second or even a third and keep them all moving?
Coaching Points
Keep your arms out to help you balance, try doing lots of small touches of the ball, if you feel you are losing control of it then stop the ball by trapping it until you are ready to move again.

Dribble the ball around the foot once whilst maintaining your balance
Silver Challenge
Dribble the ball around the foot 3 times in a row whilst maintaining your balance
Gold Challenge
Dribble the ball around the foot 5 times in a row whilst maintaining your balance
Coaching Points
Practice pointing your toes inwards to expose more of the outside of the foot to push the ball with. try to keep the ball close to the body at all times so that it is under your control. Be aware of the space around you by looking up to see where the space is.

Can you dribble the ball using the outside of both your left and right feet?
Silver Challenge
Can you dribble the ball with the outside of the foot, touching it 30 times in under 30 seconds?
Gold Challenge
Create an obstacle course using things that you find around the house, can you dribble around the obstacle course using only the outside of your foot?
