Coaching Points

When dribbling, try to keep the ball under control and close to your feet by taking softer touches. Look up to see where the space is and try to trick the defender by pretending to go one way and then going the other way.

You will need: Large Foam Ball Disc Cones

Bronze Challenge

Can you dribble past the crab defender 3 times without being caught?

Silver Challenge

Can you dribble past the crab defender 3 times without being caught, using only your non dominant foot to dribble?

Gold Challenge

Can you catch the dribblers 10 times when you are the crab?

Coaching Points

Keep focused on the centre of both of the objects, you have to rely on your peripheral vision (wider awareness) instead of looking at one object or the other. To do this the throws need to be good and you must rely on your sense of feeling/touch when you feel the ring hit your hand. To begin practice with slower moving objects such as 2 dance scarves, then use 1 ring and 1 dance scarf before completing the full task.
